Crewe & Nantwich entered 2 teams for the Northern Cross Country Relays held in a warm, sunny Graves Park, Sheffield yesterday.
On a hilly course, the U17 men’s team finished in 16th place in a field of 26 teams.
Jacob Brown ran the first 2300m leg in 7:32 followed by James Howell Jones in 8:17 and Eliot Nevill in 8:07.
The U15 boys finished a brilliant 8th of 31 starters on a 2000m course. Arun Dight ran first leg in 7:44, followed by Fred Dobberson in 7:35 and Josh Betteley in 7:01. Josh ran the 7th fastest leg in the race overall.
