Some great performances recently by our Club multi-eventers at the U11 – U17 Championships saw gold medals in the U11 Girls, U17 Women, U15 Women and U15 Men. Rosie Meakin, Emma Fowler, Liberty Hughes and Frank Roe taking pride of places by considerable margins from other competitors around Cheshire.
In the U11 Girls competition – Rosie was 1st, Olivia Fowler 4th, Meg Illingworth 7th and Esther Wilding 8th. The Team came 2nd
In the U11 Boys competition -Liam Prestwich was 2nd, Oliver Atkinson was 3rd and George Spain 11th. The Team came 2nd
In the U13 Boys competition – Alfie Bould was 3rd, Sam Burgess and Oliver Taylor joint 7th and Ethan Hall 10th
In the U13 Girls competition – Amelia Atkinson was 4th, Ruka Shonibare was 9th and Lauren Roe 15th
In the U15 Boys competition – Frank was first, Lewis Palin was a close 2nd.
In the U15 Girls competition. – Liberty was 1st.
In the U17 Womens competition Emma was 1st.
A big well done to our athletes who turned out in what was one of the best multi-event set of results at the Cheshire Champs that we've seen for many years. A big thank you to all the coaches at the club who have worked really hard for the last year in preparing the athletes.
