Air Products 5k Sunday 10th April 2011
Although we had no runners competing in the Air Products 10k event this year, several Crewe & Nantwich AC athletes took part in the 5k Race held just before the main event. Four of our runners finished in the top 15 – David Dobberson in 3rd, Rob Huntbach in 4th, Annie Huntbach in 9th and Cara Gibbons in 14th; Sophie Smith was well placed in 21st, as was Joab Huntbach in 30th; we then had a trio of our U11 runners – Lucy Smith, Eve Heaword and Holly Smith – coming across the line together in 31st/32nd/33rd place! Well done to all our runners (along with young Harry Huntbach and ‘the Mothers’ – Diane Smith, Rachael Heaword and Katie Huntbach -who also took part in the Race). Race photos at www.racephotos.org.uk
