2014 ECCA English Narional XC Champs

Three of the U15 boys represented C&N at the National Cross Country Championships today at Wollaton Park, Nottingham. The course was surprisingly good considering all the rain we've had, a few muddy patches where shoes were lost and even a bit of steeplechasing thrown in with the odd log to jump on the way round the course. The field for the U15 boys consisted of 338 runners doing a distance of 4.5k.

Josh Betteley finished in a fantastic 20th spot, 5th out of the Northern clubs.

Arun Dight finished 140th, great result for him being younger of the U15 age group.

Fred Dobberson finished 222nd. Fred unfortunately fell on his way round losing several places but he managed to carry on even though he'd taken a knock. Well done Fred
