Great turn-out by our younger athletes at Eastlands (Sportcity) recently in the Tom Pink Relay event. Many medals won and a fantastic day out enjoyed by all. The Club had a great day out at the Tom Pinks Relays recently. The event is basically a continuous relay in teams who look to chase Paula Radcliffe’s and Kelly Holmes time’s for the distance for the

Girls and Steve Cramm’s time for the Boys. Years 5, 6,7, and 8 took part in Chasing Paula, Chasing Kelly and Chasing Steve events. Aswell as Over / Under Relays and a 5000 Metre continuous relay. Many gold, silver and bronzes won by our teams ( see attached results)

The sportshall pentathlon is made up of Standing Long Jump, Speed Bounce, Hi Steeper, Vertical Jump and Javelin. There was also an endurance award for the Primary School athletes based on how far they could run in two minutes. The score chart is based on age.
