Well folks the 2011 summer track & field season came to a close with the last open meetings at Blackpool and Wrexham over the weekend. At Blackpool we had five athletes out performing. Congratulations to Jack Seddon who took first place in the U17 Mens 100m and Alex Steele who picked up a silver in the Mens 200m at Blackpool. Also congratulations to Katie Matthews who through a pb to pick up 1st place in the U17 Womens discus. Katie also took second place in the U17 Womens 100m. Ollie Conroy picked up two bronzes – one in the U15 Boys 100m and the other in the U15 Boys High Jump. Richard Owen picked up a gold in the U17 Mens 1500m. Full results click here.
